Stantonbury Campus Digital Leaders

Hi! We’re Stantonbury Campus – a 11-18 school in glorious Milton Keynes, home of roundabouts and concrete cows!  We’re probably a bit different to other schools as we have 2800 students, students call teachers by their first name and students don’t wear uniform.

We’re really excited about the Digital Leaders programme as we have lots of amazing students who are chomping at the bit to lead ICT learning in our school community.   One of the aspects of Digital Leaders that really excites us is that students will be able to share their ICT experiences with staff and help them make the most of ICT in their lessons.

We’ve had a bit of a play with some games based learning and creating tools such as Atmosphir and now Kodu Games Lab.  We’re going to be rolling out Kodu Games Lab to students soon inside and outside of lessons … exciting times!

A key role for Digital Leaders at our school will be moderators of the school learning platform, Moodle as we have a busy, vibrant community and our Digital Leaders will need to model excellent behaviour on Moodle as well as encouraging usage on the VLE.   We also want students to contribute to the front page of Moodle by writing news stories about what’s happening at school.
